CPR + First Aid Training – This is a blended learning course that includes an online training course and an in-person skills training session with Nurse Allie.
The online course is required to be completed before you meet in person for your skills session. The online course may take 2-5 hours depending on your learning style (you can start and stop the course as you need).
The in-person skill session is a physical class requiring kneeling, standing, bending, and pushing. Wear clothes that will allow you to get on the floor to practice CPR skills on manikins.
Certification:
Adult +Child CPR/AED and Standard First Aid certification will be awarded upon completion of this blended learning course. The certification is valid for two years.
Registration:
Within two days of registering, OPUSD’s district nurse, Allie LeVine will email you instructions on how to access the online course through the American Heart Association.
